Peterson Special Reserve 2007

Being a avid aromatic smoker I have for years engaged in a search for the Holy Grail of aromatic tobacco. With paramount expectation I purchased a 100 gram tin. Upon opening the tin my ofactory sensors were greeted with an delicious arom. My expectatios were further heighten. I found the moisture content to be minimal. It packed and lit well. The first few puffs produced volumes of white cummulus like smoke. My first taste sensation was that of a very pleasing coconut taste. Very nice! As I continued the coconut subsided a bit and a very nice sweet taste can to the forefront. As I continued to puff the sweet taste was replace by a very spicy almost peppery taste which continued through the rest of the bowl. Ah but alast my expectation of finally discovering the Holy Gail of aromatics were dashed on the rocks of disappointment. I was unable to reproduce the same taste sensation with subsequent bowls of this mixture. Somewhat like a heroin addict seeking to recreate the effect of his first high is was not to be. I found this mixture to be highly inconsistant in realtion to reproduction of taste. It does have an extremely pleasant room note which should please the ladies. I however can only give it 2 stars.
