Cornell & Diehl Epiphany
(2.97)
We have a delightful new light English blend called Epiphany. Epiphany is reminiscent of the original Revelation blend that was said to be the favorite of a certain renowned thinker named Einstein. Epiphany is another classic Tarler/Runowski blend of Va, Burleys, Latakia and Perique in perfect balance and harmony.
Notes: Reminiscent of old original Philip Morris - Revelation (not the House of Windsor version).

Compared to the HoW version of Revelation, this one fails to hit the mark. I'll smoke the rest of the tin over time, but won't buy more of it.

I feel a little let down by this blend. Was expecting a little more from it. All and all though a decent smoke. Take out the perique so the other flavors could come through more and I would probably like it better.

Even after trying a couple of different pipes and comming back after a couple on months I just can not get into this tobacco. It is obviously a quality blend though too strong for me. I'll place into storage and see if my palate changes.

My preference is for smooth mild smokes with flavors that are balanced and well blended. I found this mix to be much to strong for my taste, harsh, biting, with a disagreeable long lasting bitter aftertaste. My 4 ounce bag is out killing beetles on the roses. If you like ElRay del Mondo cigars over Montecristo Whites give it a try.
