Not nearly as bad as I expected. One can actually taste orange and honey, although it tents to get bitter towards the end of the bowl. Still, very little tongue bite for a Borkum Riff Aromatic, and not a lousy casual smoke.

I didn't find that this burns hot, but it does burn fast. Smoked dry in a cob. I only noticed nicotine in the first bowl in the morning. It does seem to bite if you smoke it all day. I like to exhale through the snork, and I get a mild citrus flavor when I do that. It leaves a mild, candied orange flavor on the tongue.
This did get the thumbs up from my coworkers. The same as other reviewers, I don't taste any honey.

I bought a pouch as a new pipe smoker... I got to say that these strange flavors atract me... The first bowl I smoked gave me a hell of a bite. Since then I've been using the "frank method" for packing, and it's been fine. It is a very sweet tobacco (sirupy as someone mentioned above), and you can taste the oranges (more like a orange jam), and a very sweet flavor that I assume it's the honey. It's not completely bad, but I don't think I would by another pouch. It smells great in the pouch, and aparently when smoked too. Burns easy, but can get bitter if smoked too hot.

I live in Tacoma, Washington; and I went to my local Walgreens shortly before Christmas. I was shocked and disappointed to discover that the store had removed its pipes and pipe tobaccos. I upon return to my home began to "online" shop, and received my second disappointment; in that Missouri Meerschaum, can not ship tobacco to Washington State. I was lucky to find Cup Of Joes would ship to Washington, and ordered two pouches of Borkum Riff - Orange & Honey. I ordered this blend as it listed with the least amount of Cavendish in its make-up. My order arrived here in Tacoma on 12/23/2014 and I have been smoking it in various EA Carey pipes until today, 01/02/2015; to give it a fair chance. It arrived very dry and I added two moisture buttons soaked in purified water, to bring up moisture. I noted the orangish odor when I opened the pouch, and it got stronger as the moisture rose. I long ago smoked John Rolfe with its peach notes, the orange was not a natural, it was a chemical orange. I could not detect any honey. I have noted this chemical increase as I smoked the tobacco to the bottom of the bowl. I have smoked an ounce of the pouch, and I can not take any more. After ten days, I can only give one and half stars; to this mixture.

This blend is not as bad as some would say, but it can bite no honey taste and burns wet. but it is not a bad tasting tobacco and its farily cheap tobacco. still compared to Davidoff Danish, its crap.
