A fine mix of Burley, Latakia, Virginia, and Deer Tongue that creates that Old Time aromatic tobacco flavor enjoyed by our grandfathers.

Fader's Shops in Maryland have been around since Moses crossed the Red Sea (well, almost), and their house blends are always appreciated by me. I have smoked many of them over the years and went back to my notebook for some, but others are recent "smokes" when my local pipe club had a "Fader's Night" at the Tobacco Bar a year or so ago.
I've not ordered from one of the Fader's shops for many years, so, I am not sure whether Old Mike is still being made. It was a complicated blend with the bitter (in a tart rather than yucky sort of way) combo of Deer tongue and Burley mixed in with the Latakia. I was not really a fan of this one as the combination of flavors just didn't do it for me.
