Sutliff Tobacco Company Serendipity
(2.60)
Sometimes the best things are discovered by accident, as was the case with Serendipity. Burley, Virginia and flavored black cavendish are highlighted with lemon, cinnamon and blackberry notes.

Sutliff - Serendipity
An aromatic mixture my in-laws purchased from the local b&m cigar shop, although not a fan of aromatics as I’ve stated in previous aromatic reviews, this one surely was refreshing.
The tobacco comes through on occasion a little nutty and some slight hay, but the primary flavors are blackberry and citrus. The blackberry being most prominent and appetizing.
The blackberry although slightly chemical does taste like it, and even leaves a little sour aftertaste of actual blackberries, the citrus comes and goes adding just enough but not overpowering.
1 oz sample I have smoked 2 bowls thus far. Will this become a regular, most likely not but, however I may pick it up on occasion as it does cure an itch surprisingly.
Blend stayed relatively cool, bowl was not moist.

Update on 3/19/08 I'm downgrading this a star because I've now had some true 4 star tobaccos. This is still a nice smoke, just not worthy of the 4 star rating.
Original Review on 5/30/07 follows Pop open the pouch and check out the aroma and it reminds me of caramel. This is currently my favorite after trying about 15 different types and it is by far better than the others I've tried. Pack it not too tightly and you are rewarded with an awesome smoke that usually won't go out, as long as you pay her enough attention. Gives off a really nice aroma that I just find myself sniffing all the time. Kick back in the favorite chair on the deck and puff away on this one, ahhh, not much better unless you've also got a cup of Trader Joe's Volcano coffee to go with it. I'm definitely keeping this one stocked in the humidor.

Another in Altadis rather extensive line of bulk aromatic?s. This is a desert smoke, a heavily flavored aromatic. A good amount of Altadis? standard berry flavoring, with undertones of cinnamon. Personally, I find it very pleasant indeed. Very little bite noted, has a tendancy to be a bit hot, but less so than some other Altadis? heavy aromatics. Not an all day tobacco by any means but a pleasant occasional treat.
