Boswell Pipes & Tobacco Pennsylvania Dutch Treat
(3.30)
Full and rich and superbly made with a cavendish blend, along with burley with a pinch of cherry. Bursting with rich flavors and smoothness. One of J.M.'s favorites to smoke, which he masterfully blended back when he was 20 years old.

This was a big let down.
I’d put off trying any Boswell products for a long time, though looked forward to the eventuality thanks to so many glowing reviews. I was aware of accusations that Boswell is simply reselling Lane blends as their own, as many tobacconists do, or blending existing Lane products to create new ones, but figured I should judge for myself. The accusations may as well be true.
If you like the propylene glycol profile of Lane or Sutliff products, you might enjoy this.
I do not. I smoked half a bowl and threw it in the trash.

Cherry Bubble-Yum, this is exactly what I remember it tasting like-and I hated it as gum and moreso as a tobacco. It doesn't bite and it's not painful to smoke, but is perfumed heavily with artificial cherry gum. I do like an aromatic and even enjoy some fruit flavored aro's, but I want to taste tobacco as well and I didn't get past the cherry gum in this. Dumped it mid-bowl and will be giving away the rest of the ounce I bought.
