I would say this is good blend for beginner, won't hurt my wallet at all. But after a while when someone introduced me to Latakia blend tobacco, my interest to smoke this tobacco started to fade away. Somehow I still keep it 1-2 pack in stock just for refreshing my memory of why I started to smoke pipe tobacco..

Ah, my first pipe tobacco ever. It was my bible in pipe tobbacos. I have to admit, after all these years, i really like to smoke some vanilla cavendish from time to time. Nice room note, not an overwhelming aroma, just gives a sweetnes to the tobacco. However, it can bite, and tends to be a little wet in the pouch, so you have to dry it. I recomend it for anyone!

This is nasty. It lacks flavor, has moderate strong tongue bite and has a persistent, bitter chemical aftertaste. It was relatively dry out of the package and burned quite hot and very quickly. I smoked 3/4 of a bowl and literally just dumped the contents of the pouch into my burning pellet stove 5 minutes ago; it stank in the backyard for a bit. (I don't think it liked it either).

This tobacco is for somebody who wants mild vanilla tobacco without tongue bite. Flavors is vanilla and fruit and I found it very pleasant. I recommend it for beginners.

I got several samples of Borkum Riff Vanilla Cavendish and Champagne from my tobacconist. It's pipe tobacco like this that gives all aromatics a bad reputation. It has a very synthetic smell out of the pouch and just seems to be a poor quality leaf that's mass produced.
I think Vanilla is one of the easiest flavors to do for pipe tobacco. Cap Black White, even the Pipa Vanilla Cavendish are leaps and bounds above this. But this cannot even do that correctly. It's a strong kick of unpleasantness. I tried to go as far down the bowl as I could but only made it half way. Tongue bite on top of a terrible flavor leaving a putrid room note. I will probably never buy this company's tobacco and now I don't know what to do with the Champagne.

I think this tobacco is atrocious. Very strong bite and burn, and after the first few minutes all flavor is completely gone and it feels like you're smoking an exhaust pipe.

Slight vanilla taste with tongue bite, my pipe smelled like cigarette ashtray after I smoked this. it has a bittersweet taste that feels artificial.

Burly based blend with slight vanilla topping, the black cavendish make it sweet and quit hot burning. require slow puffing to avoid bite. Try MB Vanilla Cream for a good vanilla blend
