Cornell & Diehl Boker Or - Morning Light
(3.38)
A base of light, yet rich Orientals serves as the backdrop for a spicy, yet smooth medley of raisiny Perique, mellow stoved red Virginias, and a dash of sweetened black Cavendish. Perfect with a cup of strong coffee or on a morning stroll.
Notes: Previous Tin Copy: An unusual base of light yet rich orientals serves as a backdrop to a real Perique presence, enveloping stoved red Virginias sweetened with a bit of black cavendish. Perfect with a cup of strong coffee or on a morning stroll.

The orientals are the pronounce flavor on this one with the virginias adding sweetness follow by the perique coming in and out, this blend seems to be more refine than #837. this one is easy to keep lit it comes dry like most of C&D blends, the description of this blend is pretty much dead on, except for the part of the perique presence which i would say is there but not overwhelming, I recommend this but with caution you most really like orientals specially Izmir, if you are expecting Vaper blend this one is not it.

I found a small jar from my October 2018 sample from the old Tin Society box.
Ribbon cut with a variety of shades of tobacco and no overwhelming tin note. Very easy to pack and light.
I found it smokes wonderfully in smaller pipes. A slight sweetness but mostly carried by the oriental spice and supported but not overwhelmed by the perique. The aftertaste is definitely Oriental forward and lingers.
It's strength makes it something I enjoy for an evening smoke despite the name. The room note is quite strong and cigar or cigarette like. It's not something I usually crave a back to back bowl of but it's a pleasure to enjoy.
