Extremely weak tobacco, yet some people say it is perfect for blends. Would recommend to someone who was sensitive to nicotine. Particularly I have the idea that Candido Giovanella is a national classic, so despite the "negative" points, it is a tobacco that deserves to be appreciated properly.

The tobacco comes very fresh in the pouch and, for my taste, it needs some drying. Leave the pouch opened for 30 minutes before smoking. The peach flavour is somewhat strong but it leaves a pleasant taste that don't bite and the tobacco taste is not eclipsed by the casing, indicating a high quality and well cured virginia. The "aroma" in the room is fruity and pleased even non smokers. Being an EM smoker this is a good change of pace for me and, to an aromatized blend, it's a very decent, inexpensive one.

A blend from my country of origin, probably one o the best here. It does not mean however this is an outsdanding blend. It is an okay blend that is mild and gentle and not expensive.

Nowadays labeled as "Tradicional" this one seems to be the suposedly flavour less product from the brand, but it actually taste almost exactly like "Autentico" (Peach), the same, similarity relation that Irlandez-Irlandez Chocolate have.
As usual with Candido's tobacco, is all about smoothness being very easy to smoke any time, in any quantity. I couldn't say if I prefer this or Autentico, but I recommend avoiding the Marcante (cherry). The absence of strong aromatics makes you feel the more subtle aromas of the tobacco, a bit sour, reminding the smoke of the best brazilian "palheiros".
This review finishes the series of tastings I did of most of Candidos and Irlandez around in 2020. In the end I can say I prefer the robust nutty flavour of the latter. But lacking the tongue bite and the final bitterness makes those 2 Candido Giovanella great for a lightweight smoking.
