Revised 7/3/23: After a couple of years of trying all kinds of tobaccos, I settled on English tobaccos as my favorite. The only aromatic I continue to smoke is Davidoff Danish Mixture.
Original review:
Revised review: I tried this tobacco again after letting it rest for six months in a mason jar. I still did not like it and discarded it.
The good aspect of this is that the tobacco was stable in flavor and smoking qualities from new to six months, with no apparent change during that time. Most tobaccos I've tried do change flavor over time.
Original review: A bit too strongly flavored for me. Leaves a lot of deposits in the pipe bowl.
For me, this was a good tobacco for helping me to learn how to taste pipe tobacco, and to properly light a bowl of tobacco. It's great for that because the strong flavor makes it easy to sense when I've used too much flame and overly charred the tobacco, and the sweet flavor is so strong that it makes it easy to sense when I'm getting a good berry flavor.
But for better or worse, I've found that I prefer less assertively flavored tobaccos. I have had the same experience with Sutliff Z92 Vanilla Custard and Boswell Raspberry Cream: Helpful to learn from but just not my cup of tea for smoking regularly thereafter.
A quality product and I can recommend it for someone looking for the stronger flavor. I highly recommend it because it is what it is claimed to be: A full flavored aromatic that does taste of berries.
Technique notes: My smoking technique is to focus only on smoking. No reading or work or other distractions. Just enjoying the smoke. Outdoors only. A few bowls per week of pipe smoking. Lightly charring the tobacco initially and with relights. Sipping. Occasional retrohale. Peterson pipe lighter with smallest practical flame. Sometimes a BIC EZ Reach lighter.
Am using a variant of the Frank method to pack a 2/3 full pipe without first putting loose tobacco in the bowl. I just take a wad of tobacco and press it into place Frank-style. Tobacco is stored in OXO POP container with size 60 Boveda 72% pack.
Savinelli 207 smooth is my favorite pipe and favorite pipe design.

Smoking now:
Bag note smells like… berries. Not like a specific berry but like generic berries. Very sweet smelling. The aroma isn’t chemically or artificial. It’s nice. Not sticky or too wet but it is damp. Packed and lite straight away and didn’t have an issue.
The taste is pleasant fruit, berry, and sugar. It’s not overly strong, artificial, or obnoxious. It has a natural sugar fruit taste. The retrohale is pleasant. The berry taste gets less noticeable half way though the bowl. What’s left is a sweet Cavindish type of tobacco smoke. Coworker said it was a very pleasant smelling pipe smoke. Almost no after taste, no bite or harshness. Nicotine is practically non existent.
A decent aromatic. Definitely the better fruit flavored aromatic I’ve had.

Boswell does indeed produce a high quality aromatic, in my humble experience. Like many aros, sipping this one slow will allow you to experience a bit of that amazing tin note in the retrohale (in my experience anyhow). The room note and after aroma are unmatched (again, in my experience) when it comes to aros. The tobacco flavor is surprisingly good as well, which I feel a lot of aros are definitely lacking in.

I wanted to like this. Anytime I have different experiences from others I always wonder about myself. However, I just couldn't get into this. It was like the berry flavor wasn't intense enough but then neither was the tobacco taste. It did burn well even though the tobacco seemed incredibly moist. I'll try it again soon...

I thought I would get a variety of aromatics from Boswell, and I started off with this one. Now, if you dislike aromatics, you would probably want to stay away from this blend; its berry taste and aroma are pronounced. But the flavor is really great and it does not bite at all. Four aromatic stars.

I'm on a bit of a quest to find the ideal berry-oriented tobacco. So far, this is in the lead.
Of the three Boswell aromatics which I've tried so far (Christmas Cookie, Raspberry Cream, Berry Cobbler), this is my favorite. Compared to the Raspberry Cream, it has a significantly more flavorful taste, bag smell, and room note. Also, in the same comparison, this tobacco is more mild (what I prefer for an aromatic), leaving much less of that cigarette/ash-tray aftertaste in your mouth. This blend rocks, could smoke it all day.

Berry Cobbler is a good smoke, though it smells better than it tastes. Unburnt it smells better than any aromatic I've ever tried. The smell is delicious and I was really expecting a more pronounced berry taste. However, the sweet taste I was hoping for didn't come through as expected. I think this blend would be a 4 star blend if there was less burley and more cavendish.

Not bad if you like very sweet tasting tobaccos --- just not what I was looking for in a all day smoke,,, too sweet for me..... Still nevertheless , not bad if you like sweet flavorful smokes.
