Brigham Enterprises Inc. Virginia Flake
(3.20)
Golden, light and medium brown Virginia tobacco presented in the classic pressed and sliced flake format. This fragrant Virginia provides a light, naturally sweet pure tobacco flavour and aroma. The flake of red, lemon and dark Virginias are blended together and then pressed. This naturally sweet flavour can develop a diverse complexity when smoked slowly. Well suited for a casual stroll outdoors.
Notes: This tobacco is part of Mr. B's (Brigham) "D-Series". Reminiscent of one of the world's top brands, this pipe tobacco is a perfect replacement for an established favourite. If you like the famous Dunhill blends, you will appreciate the all new Mr. B's D-Series. "Golden Virginia Flake" is Brigham's offering for Dunhill's "Elizabethan Mixture". Due to French Canadian laws, the tobacco tin features both French and English. "Flocon Blond De Virginie" is simply "Golden Virginia Flake" in French.

I lived in Canada,all My life. Brigham(CanadianCompany)Pipes,have been Readily Available..for at least 5decades...Even though,they've been in Business,since 1907.Their Foray,Into their Own Tobacco..In Nrth-America(is relatively New/Maybe 15 years//50g.Pouches)They never really had Tinned Tobaccos...'Til 2004. I do Applaud the"Top-Dogs"(at Brig.for Having,,,LongThinking+Making Smart Partnerships)...That being SOLANI...Who blend All of Brigham's Mr.B's.TIN..series. ☆In 2009,Dunhill Tobacco(NrthAmerica),,,was in Transition/Not Sure;,,,Was Because of Tobacco Div.NrthAmerica(Changing Corporate,hands..or OtherReasons),,,But there was a Sabbatical,,Until 2011(US.)2012(Canada)☆ In late Summer 2010/Mr.B's Tin(50g)Tobacco Started Showing Up...In Canada///All similar in Name+Core..Tobacco Ingredients,To that of Forementioned(Dunhill) ...Now onto My Review.This VirginaFlake,,is quite Nice(Not as Smooth,as DunhillFlake,,VeryFewAre)I find it smokes Best,in a Med-Large-Briar. My Tastebuds..tell me Bright,,maybe some OrangeLeaf.The tin Aroma,,,,GranolaBar(OldBurley)Honey(BrightVirginia)Almond(OrangeLeaf)... I wld call this VaFlake-ExtraLight.It is Very Smooth(as long as You Puff...SLOW..)Bright VirginaLeaves,,,can get Hot;if Your Not Careful. Nice smooth,light Smoke(for You VirginiaFans/or Anyone,,wanting to Cut Your,ProverbialTeeth)

A great tobacco in my opinion. I just love the character this one has. It definitely benefits from sipping as you'll get the more delicate flavours and the sweetness showing well. It's a great thing to have in your pipe while you can watch the time just roll away. Better still you can just forget about time entirely and enjoy your smoke.
