Peterson Special Reserve 2004
(2.00)
As always, only tobaccos of perfect quality have been used for this mixture. Black cavendish and dark Virginia have been refined with long cut flake pieces. Tasty burley fermented in oak barrels give a certain extra to this tobacco. An individual distinctive hops flavor gives an exquisite aroma and an extraordinary taste to complete this blend.

Peterson's tobacco of the aromatic variety (of which this one is), is unique. They manage to retain true tobacco flavor even though heavy handed on the syrup. This 2004 edition of their Special Reserve (put together by the now out of business Murray's), is quite good.
When reviewing a blend made up of components I don't personally gravitate toward, I try to consider how the blend may fare for those who enjoy the type. In this case, I think aromatic smokers who appreciate the taste of Burley will be delighted by this blend.
