Golden Blend Tobacco Co. Vanilla Supermild
(2.50)
An exceptionally mild blend of hand-picked Virginia and burley tobaccos, cut using the wild-cut method. Distinctive, pleasant fragrance with the taste of exotic vanilla.

Golden Blend Tobacco Co. - Vanilla Supermild.
Note: this was supplied bulk from G.Q. Tobaccos.
As I've mentioned before I love vanilla aromatics, so a blend with Vanilla in the title was a no-brainer!
This blend does justice to the name Coarse Cut, there's all manner of shapes and sizes included. Moisture content couldn't be better, and the aroma, unsurprisingly, is of vanilla.
This seems aptly named. The vanilla does come across as mild, perhaps not SUPER mild, but it isn't sticky nor glucky. It appears to me that some of the weed has been processed into Cavendish, and this rounds and smooth's the smoke nicely. The Burley doesn't seem too rustic, or nutty, but has a slightly refined creaminess to it. The Virginia brings nothing special to the profile, it tastes quite stereotypical. Tongue bite? Not even a blip from beginning to end. The vanilla's quite light, but the texture of the smoke's heavy: plumes and clouds of smoke!
The room-note's lovely and the nicotine's mild.
I love vanilla blends and this hits the spot!
Four stars.
