Borkum Riff Mellow Breeze Full Aromatic
(2.00)
Broadly stated tones of exotic fruits and a subtle undertone of French vanilla makes a strong statement in this rich, bite free tobacco. Vintage mellowed tobacco is afforded the exacted treatment of a fine wine. It's carefully blended by our master blender from aged premium bright Virginia and cool smoking burley tobaccos to produce a satisfying taste and a rich aroma.

February 2006. Mellow Breeze.
Well, some one had to be first to review this blend, and it's me. Upon opening the pouch the aroma was quite nice.I rubbed enough out for 2 bowl's,and let it air for 5 minate's,then filled my pipe bowl.
Lighting was very easy, and with a few tamp's it stayed lit very well. The flavour reminded me of a very mild slighly friuty taste, but,I was definitely aware of the vanilla topping. Not that it was overpowering in anyway but,I'm just not into vanilla being in my tobacco!
For new people to the pipe or those looking for vanilla in a blend, then maybe this is worth a try.
Slighly recommended,to those looking for that certain vanilla fruit taste.
