This is another gateway tobacco for unseasoned Latakia lovers. It is not terribly strong, ok it is rather wimpy in the Latakia department, but there is some Latakia in the blend. What makes this blend decent is the excellent balance between the VA and the oriental tobaccos. Think of this blend like a pale ale beer, lots of nice flavors but no real substantial flavors that grab your attention. Like all McCranie's blends it burns well and consists of high quality tobaccos. This one could use about twice the latakia.
