Mac Baren Dark Twist Loose Cut
(2.38)
The shortcut to good tobacco. Easier to fill - easier to smoke. A contrast-rich mixture of golden, loose cut Virginia tobaccos and mild black cavendish, with a touch of matured burley tobaccos. A mild harmonious mixture with a round, pleasant and characteristic Dark Twist tobacco flavour. Dark Twist Loose Cut is very easy to fill and easy to smoke.

A ribbon cut version of the DT Roll Cake. The spicy brown sugar sweet black cavendish is a strong supporting player. The light and dark Virginias offer some tart and tangy citrus and tangy dark fruit, along with a fair amount of earth, wood, and a little grass and bread. They are also responsible for the honey note. The spicy woody, earthy, mildly floral, nutty, dry sour dark fired Kentucky is a major player. The topping doesn't tone down the varietals much at all. The strength is a couple of steps short of medium, while the taste is medium. The nic-hit is a couple of slots past the center of mild to medium. Won't bite, but fast puffing will get you a little tongue tingle. Burns clean at a moderate pace with a fairly consistent, mildly complex flavor, more so than the Roll Cake incarnation does. Requires an average number of relights, and leaves little moisture in the bowl. The pleasant after taste does linger as does the slightly stronger room note. Needs to be sipped a little as it can burn a little warm, and tongue tingly if puffed fast. Can be an all day smoke.
