Vanilla and caramel are appealing flavors, especially when not overdone so that you get sick of it. That doesn't happen here. Not much tobacco taste present, though you will notice a little of the toast and honey cavendish from time to time. The Virginia offers a little grass and citrus. Has little nicotine. Burns slightly fast and cool with a consistent taste, but will leave some moisture in your bowl. No bite. A very pleasant room note. An all day smoke.

I bought it because the tobacconist said it was made with Lane 1-Q. I think he was confused. The tobacco looks similar, but this isn't listed on the Lane Limited website or here.
Upon opening the package, this tobacco smells strongly of raisins and lightly of chocolate. There is a lot of flavoring added. Overall, the package smell doesn't translate well to smoke or room note. It does smell sweet, but not overly. Mostly, it's flavorless, so I've stashed it away. Maybe age will help.
It does leave a lot of moisture and gurgle badly.
Really, there's no reason to waste your money on this tobacco.

I tried this soon after Captain Black Gold, and was discovering I liked it a bit better. The first few bowls were very nice and sweet, with just a hint of flavoring. Unfortunately, last night, I discovered the sludge. This leaf began tasting like bad chocolate. Still mild, but I can't stand the casing. I suffered through it, then found a thick black ink in the bottom of the bowl. It was just BAD. Stay away!
