Dan Tobacco Fleetenkieker
(2.33)
Sun cured, golden colored Virginia tobaccos from Zaire and Mysore in varying cuts, a tiny pinch of Louisiana perique and a lot of black cavendish with a mild aromatization. Sweet and aromatic, mellow and pleasantly gossamery. Suitable for any bowl with, but plays his strengths best in medium-wide bowls.
This way these old "ragpickers" became socially acceptable. An uncomplicated, reliable companian for all-day!
Notes: "Once they rummaged through the "Alsterkanäle" (The canal-system of Alster; also called "Fleete") with their thigh-high boots, looking for (re-)useable things. Today a very popular restaurant in Hamburg is named after them.
(The recipe was changed and now doesn't contain latakia, nor Oriental leafs.)

Opened a large tin of this at 3am. Could not sleep and put the coffee on. Figured a sweet tobacco might mellow my mood. First this is a ribbon cut. I keep it in my rotation to add when I smoke with a new pipe smoker. This is a very mild and sweet blend that kind of sneaks up on you. Slow puffers will enjoy this to no end. You speeding youngsters will get a nice surprise as you near the end. Taste is full and very sweet. It never fights you but just gradually takes over in flavor. In all it is a nice smoke much like Sunday Stroll.
