Package note of very bready, sharp fermented vegetation and spices. Tobacco is a ribbon cut of brown and dark brown with a little black and tan. Moisture content is good, few pipe smokers will want to dry it a bit. Burns moderate with few relights. The strength is mild to medium and nic is mild. Flavoring is mild to medium, with notes of a sharp sweet fruit. the sharpness begins to decrease after the first 1/4 and dissipates entirely by the end of the first 1/2. Taste is mild to medium and moderately consistent, with notes of stewed tart and tangy sweet, savory, musty vegetation, floral, bready, nutty, very spicy, wood, spices, fermented sour, herbal, acidic, rich earth, grassy, buttery, a spicy woody like background note, and a very peppery retro. Oriental/Turkish are leading with Cavendish, Flavoring and Virginias supporting. Room note is tolerable, and aftertaste is great.
