Cornell & Diehl Ghost of Christmas Present

The flue cured red, orange and bright Virginias provide plenty of tart and tangy citrus, grass, bread, sugar, earth, wood, some tangy dry darker fruit, floralness, vegetation, mild sour lemon, light spice, and a touch of acidity. A light dark spiced rum casing very mildly tones down the tobaccos. The strength and nic-hit are a couple of steps past the center of mild to medium. The taste falls half a step short of the medium mark. No chance of bite or harshness. Has a few minute rough notes. Burns cool and clean at a moderate pace with a very consistent flavor that translates to the lightly lingering, pleasant after taste. The room note is a bit stronger. Barely leaves any dampness in the bowl, and requires few relights. Can be an all day smoke. Three and a half stars.
