The bright and darker Virginias provide a fair amount of tart and tangy citrus, grass, sugar, bread, floralness, vegetation, some earth, wood, mild sour lemon, spice, light darker fruit, and a touch of acidity. The sugary, toasty black cavendish is a supporting player. The tartly sweet apricot topping is more obvious than the vanilla and caramel as they moderately tone down the tobaccos. The strength and taste levels are medium. The nic-hit is a couple of steps lower than that. There’s no chance of bite or harshness, and the rough edges are very light. Burns cool and clean at a reasonable rate with a very consistent tartly sweet, fruity, floral, mildly sour, lightly spicy flavor that extends to the pleasantly lingering after taste. The room note is a notch stronger. Leaves little dampness in the bowl, and doesn’t require many relights. Can be an all day smoke. Three and a half stars.

Tin note of butterscotch syrup and peaches. Tobacco ribbons are brown, black and a little tan. Tobacco is wet, needs a bit of drying. Burns moderatly with few extra relights. The strength is mild and nic is mild. Flavoring is mild to medium, with notes of apricots and mild vanilla. Caramel is drifting in the background. Taste is mild and somewhat consistent, with notes of mild sweet grass, mild lemon, mild toasted bread, wood, mild sugar and spice, mild dried fruit, floral, and a smooth retro. Flavored cavendish is leading with Virginias supporting. Room note is pleasant, and aftertaste is ok.
