The star attraction is the deeply rich and creamy smooth butterscotch, cocoa and marshmallow toppings. There’s a little earth, wood, bread and nuts from the burleys. The bright Virginia provides a light tart and tangy citrus, grass, sugar, bread, and hints of spice and floralness. The sugary black cavendish mainly acts as a flavor holder. The strength is a step past the mild mark. The taste is in the center of mild to medium. The nic-hit is rather mild. There’s no chance of bite or harshness, and rough notes don’t exist here. Mildly moist, it burns cool, clean and slightly slow with a very consistent mellow taste to the finish. Has a very pleasant, lightly lingering after taste, and room note. Barely leaves any dampness in the bowl, and requires a tad more than an average number of relights. A very comfortable, easy going all day smoke. Four stars.
