Cobblestone Virginia Plug

The various fermented Virginias offer some tart citrus and grass, wood and earth, bread, a little tangy dark fruit, light sugar, spice, sourness and floralness. The double pressing eliminates nearly all potential sharpness and rough edges. The strength is in the center of mild to medium. The taste is a step past that center. The nic-hit is a couple of slots past the mild mark. It won’t bite or get harsh. This crumble kake easily breaks apart and doesn’t need much, if any dry time. Burns cool and clean at a slow rate with a very consistent, fairly smooth, mildly sweet, slight savory flavor that extends to the short lived, pleasant after taste. Leaves little dampness in the bowl, and does require a lot of relights. Has a pleasant room note. A fairly easy going all day smoke. Three stars.
