John Cotton John Cotton's Double Pressed Creme
(3.17)
It begins as a flake tobacco made of Virginia and black cavendish and then rubbed out. The tobaccos are given time to allow the leaf to re-oxygenate to liven the flavor and to prepare for the next step. Then the tobaccos are pressed again into a crumble cake, so further fermentation can take place. But what really makes the difference is a subtle bit of vanilla to give it a slight sweetness and a pleasant room note.

Cracked a tin of this tobacco the other day and have been wanting to try this one for a while now. Upon opening the tin you get greeted with a crumble cake with a nice sweet Creme scent, not too strong but noticeable. Smoked a bowl fresh from the tin with no dry time and it burned well with not a single relight. For what this blend is, it is as advertised and would give it about 3.6/4 stars so rounded up to 4 stars. This is a decent blend and hopefully the regulations (mehhh) don't get to this blend so it will be around for years to come. If it sounds like something you might enjoy I recommend picking up a tin while supplies last. Happy piping everyone!
