Ken Byron Ventures Yoshimi’s Out Shine

Yoshimi’s first straight mixture is a blend of top grade brights from Canada and Balkan regions with two of the brighter Orientals: Yenidje and Basma.
The tobaccos are marinated in a honeysuckle and honeydew vodka casing before being married at fermentation temperature and dried to a perfect “ready to smoke” humidity. There is no top note applied to the final blend.
Notes: Warning: for fans of Yoshimi’s aromatics, this is not one. This is a Virginia/Oriental mixture that is meant to be sipped versus puffed. The casing is almost unnoticeable since it works with the natural flavor of bright Virginia.

I have smoked quite a few of KBV’s blends and one thought always comes to mind, ‘Truth in advertising’. Out Shine tastes exactly how Mr. Byron describes it.
To me, smoking Out Shine is like sipping on a cool Vodka tonic with a slight splash of honeydew...delicious! This blend fills a niche in my tobacco bar that I didn’t know was needed. I hope that Out Shine becomes a staple in their line of fine blends. Hats off to you, Yoshimi.
