Savinelli Jupiter
(3.17)
Savinelli's Jupiter is a commanding blend of Burley, dark-fired Kentucky, and Virginias, archetypally cased and pressed into flakes.
Notes: Jupiter intermingles white and dark Burleys with red and bright Virginias and a touch of spicy, dark-fired Kentucky, along with a delicate topping of dark rum and molasses for a sweet, nutty, and complex flavor profile.

Excellent smoke. Earthy, dark chocolate, full flavors. Produces a lot of smoke. Possibly the best burley blend I’ve tried yet. Great for those who love a good traditional pope tobacco.

Tin note of spiced rum, dried fruit and mild barbeque smoky. Tobacco is a flake of reddish brown and light brown. Moisture content is great. Flakes rub out with a little effort. Burns slow with a few relights. The strength is medium and nic is medium. Flavoring is mild, with notes of spiced rum and molasses. The rum was more evident on initial start but petered out. Molasses stayed mostly in the background. Taste is medium and somewhat consistent, with notes of mild rum, spices, molasses, dry wood, rich earth, spicy, leather, sour vegetation, acidic, mild smoky, citrus, floral, bread, mildly savory, tart and tangy dark fruit, orange peel/zest, a bitter nutty background note, and a peppery retro. Burleys are leading with Virginias, Flavorings and Kentuckey supporting. Room note is tolerable, and aftertaste is great.
