The stoved black cavendish is fruity, sugary and lightly toasty as the lead component. The pressed cut burley offers a bit of nuttiness, earth, wood, and a touch of molasses as a supporting player. The vanilla and caramel toppings have some richness, and sublimate the tobaccos to a fair degree without drowning them out. The strength is a couple of steps past the mild mark, while the taste is a couple of slots past the center of mild to medium. The nic-hit is just past the mild threshold. Won’t bite or get harsh, and has no weak moments or rough edges. Burns cool and clean at a moderate pace with a very smoothly consistent, mildly creamy, sweet rich flavor that translates to the lightly lingering, pleasant after taste, and room note. Leaves little dampness in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Can be an all day smoke. Three and a half stars out of four.
