Ken Byron Ventures Red Forest Phenomenon (2019)
(4.00)
Enigmatic Virginia, Kentucky, Acadian Black mixture.
The Red Forest around Chernobyl exhibits curious properties of entropy. Leaves don’t decay correctly. Burned trees remain standing.
One of the perique experiments Mark Ryan produced was dark fired leaf that was then barrel fermented like normal perique. The resulting ‘Acadian Black’ is quite enigmatic.
This is a mixture of fragrant red, bright, dark, and stoved Virginias with condimental Malawi Kentucky (not smoke cured) and Acadian Black.
