What has happened to all the old favourites in the last 20 years? Is it me? This is certainly not as it was. It used to be wonderfull stuff, sweet and with a lovely whiskey aroma and taste. Not anymore.

I used to buy this as a flake, and trying the ready-rubbed in a pouch again now brings home how much things have changed. You can't go back again - is it because you have changed, or the tobacco has changed? I don't know, but what used to be a mild but rich Virginia mixture has become a hot and one-dimensional effort to smoke. Sad really.
