The Country Squire Tobacconist Delta Honeydew
(3.67)
Much like Mississippi, Delta Honeydew is complex, mysterious, and offers a few surprises. This Virginia-forward tobacco has the subtlety of high grade yellow leaf, while combining it with a small kiss of fruit topping. Additionally featuring the allure of various small-batch condimental tobaccos, Delta Honeydew is a blend that you’ll find yourself reaching for often, but won’t always know why!

A Virginia based aromatic Delta Honeydew has a fruit topping which I took as maybe apricot or even a peach that lasts through the bowl.
This is NOT a goopy aromatic. The Virginia flavor and sweetness comes through with the fruit and other tobaccos complimenting it.
I've really found this to be a great summer blend and I really enjoy it with a glass of sweet tea.

To give you a hint from where my below impressions are coming from; I favor aromatic blends (vanilla being my favorite), although I am finding I enjoy English/Scottish blends more frequently, which I could not stand when I first started smoking a pipe. I have been trying more of the English/Aromatic combo blends, which I have found being more and more of that I am reaching for for my everyday smoke
Opening the bag what I smelled was sweetness, something fruity? Hard to tell, but none of the tobacco...
The flavor I tasted was sweetness, but what was unique was the aftertaste, it left a fruity at first then a distinct citrus taste in my mouth. I cannot say if I like this or not, but the room note was very pleasant and it was something different which I am not surprised with the blend description going in. As the bowl burned down, the fruit became less pronounced and the flavor of the Virginia became dominant (but the aftertaste would not go away).
It arrived semi-moist, no drying time was needed. Was able to light this without issue and needed a few relights. I did have some tounge-bite with this blend.
