An ornately manufactured flake, strong and black, for the experienced smoker. Licorice-ish in the taste with a cool, soothing aroma. Wonderful shaded flakes. The base of this tobacco is Virginia, fermented until it's pitch black.
Notes: This is K&K's Marlin Flake, packed into another tin and sold as "Honoré".

"A deeply flavorful, hardpressed, dark Virginia flake prepared in the French manner." Whatever the hell that means.
Aside for the fact that it might honour the great French novelist Honoré de Balzac, who is quoted as having said "Tobacco is a cure for the sickness of a civilization" [he was a passionate pipe and cigar smoker] I really can't see any reason to look for this by-the-numbers Virginia flake, which is actually MADE IN GERMANY. Mais c'est incroyable!
