Darkwood Scenery - Do aromatics always have to be overly sweet and fruity? I don't think so and that's why I took new paths with Darkwood Scenery. The medium strength tobacco base consists of Virginias, Orientals, some black cavendish and a nice, bold burley. Flavored with licorice, cloves (dianthus), black pepper, sandalwood and a hint of a fruit component. A combination of aromas that reminds of old day blends, but is modernly interpreted with the Darkwood Scenery. He spoils with a spicy, but also sweet aroma from the first to the last puff.

I understand the namesake. The presentation of the baccy itself is like dry, broken leaves on the forest floor. Colorful and appealing. The smell from the tin is spicy, fruity and sweet. The orientals dominate the experience for me. Smoky, very sour, but creamy. The toasty BC pops up here and there with its sweetness, just like the virginias with some hay and dark bread.
Very unique and special tobacco. I dont know after finishing the tin, if I like it, or not. I recommend it because it is uniqueness. This is a once a week smoke. Would love it with less orientals. Two and half stars
