Seeing as I enjoy a good whiskey and a good tobacco, I wanted to give this one a try. Upon opening the tin, the scent of Irish Whiskey is very nice, the tobacco has a Nice texture to it. The aroma of whiskey was Nice as I filled the pipe and that was enjoyable. Once lit however, there was only the faintest of hints of that aroma. The texture of the smoke was not quite the same as with previous Sørensen tobaccos that I have tried. I was a little disappointed by that. This tobacco burns moderately fast, and so it does not lend itself well to savouring with a Nice glass of whiskey or a good cup of coffee. The tobacco is relatively mild, and the flavour is there just not as strong as one thinks with the aroma one gets just from opening the tin.
All in all, not bad.. But not quite as good as the other tobaccos from this producer.
