Considering how many folks have tried this abomination early in their careers, it's amazing that anyone smokes a pipe at all.

Half & Half looks like dead grass and tastes only half as bad. I tried this blend when I was less seasoned of a smoker and found it to be the most base and revolting substance that had ever been set on fire. As my tastes have matured, I recently decided to give these putrid leaves another chance. I found the flavor tangy and I must admit that for a moment I found it a refreshing change of pace from my usual cavendish. Notwithstanding, the strong odor violated my pipe with extreme prejudice. I was tasting that essence of urine in that briar for over a week after sampling Pinkerton's Puke. I definitely reccomend that you try it -- in a corncob. You will either love it or have a scary story to tell your grandchildren.

A friend of mine smokes this regularly and I enjoyed the room armoma. I have smoked burleys for many years and finally got around to trying this one. I can only say that I was disappointed.
It is not necessarily a bad tobacco, it just tasted flat to me. I expect a bit of depth and richness in a tobacco and found this to be lacking. It burned smoothly and well, but I didn't really enjoy the experience. Flat is the word that keeps coming to mind. The taste was hollow and dry with nothing to entertain my tongue.
I have decided to let it sit for a while and try it again someday to see if the experience is the same, or perhaps better.

I once found myself stuck in the mountains of NC with many pipes and no tobacco . The only store for miles had several pipe tobaccos and since I was not accustomed to smoking the drug store blends I stocked up . I can't say that I liked this one , but it was better than nothing . At the time I was very happy to have it . That was four years ago and I think the half full pouch is still under the seat of my truck . I wonder if it has aged well ?

eck. I tried this once when I ran out of baccy and couldn't get to the pipe shop. This tasted and smelled like cigarette tobacco in a can, which is fine if you like cigarettes. And I like to of never got the propylene glycol dreck out of that pipe, and finally had to throw it away because it wouldn't smoke right anymore.
