Tin note of smoky, sour vegetation and tart dark fruit. Tobacco is a mixed cut of brown, black and tan. Moisture content is ok. Some pipe smokers will want to dry it a bit. Burns slow with a few relights. The strength is medium and nic is mild to medium. No flavoring detected. Taste is medium and mostly consistent, with complex notes of peaty herbal vegetation, floral, smoky, nuts, spices, slight bitter, dry, fermented sour, sweet grass, wood, earth, toast, mild sugar, mildly savory, orange peel, a spicy and tart and tangy citrus background note, and a peppery retro. Burley is leading with Latakia, Virginia, Oriental/Turkish and Cavendish supporting. Room note is tolerable, and aftertaste is great.
