pipesandcigars.com Scotty's Bass Pond

(3.20)
Joining a number of P&C classics like Butternut Burley and Trout Stream comes our latest and greatest aromatic, Scotty's Bass Pond. We started with a toasted black cavendish made of premium quality Green River burley. This tobacco is then steamed and infused with rich caramel and vanilla notes along with cherry and dark fruit. The result is a bite-free, exceptionally slow-smoking black cavendish with plenty of smooth flavor, and an incredible room note that everyone will love.

Ok, let me first start off by saying this blend technically delivers, so take my review into consideration. My reviews are more of a personal database to keep track of my thoughts on blends I've tried so I can check back later and see what I thought.

On to the review! Bass Pond smells great, almost tropical, and it tastes exactly like it smells. So what's my gripe with it? It's just really boring. It's the same exact one flavor over and over again. It was one of the first blends I got bored of before I even got halfway through the bowl.

Pretty Decent Cavendish Blend. Has lots of sweet overtones and lighter than you would think by looking at it. I would smoke a few bowls but need a change throughout the day. Keeping it lit was a challenge so I'd recommend a wider mouthed bowl for it.
