Danske Club Ruby
(2.33)
Choice burley and bright Virginia tobaccos are blended with some black cavendish and the refined with a delicate cherry flavour. A mixture with exceptionally mellow and subtle fruity notes. Delicious aroma of cherries make this loose cut blend a smoke worth remembering.
Notes: Formerly known as "Cherry" and/or "Cherry Mild" and re-named to "Ruby" due to EU regulations.

I got a pouch from a friend recently and I must totally disagree with the former reviews.
The smell from the fresh opened pouch was tobacco with an underlying cherry aroma. The cherry thingy is not overwhelming or dominating. The taste of every puff is more tobacco-ish then fruity. I can taste the VA and the Burley with a note of cherry taste in the background. No tongue bit or immense moisture in the bowl.
Maybe they changed the recipe over the time, I don't know, I never had this baccy before. But for me it tastes and smell like a good ol' danish pipe tobacco. And I prefer non aromatics or english blends usually.
It is, in my humble opinion, a decently flavored tobacco for lover of aromatics. Not a high class baccy but for daily usage more then enough.
