Low Country - Hazelnut.
The blend's made up of mostly mid-sized ribbons, and is fairly uniform. There's a lot more Burley than black Cavendish. In the pouch-note it's easy to identify it as an aromatic. I've had this for about two months and it's still a touch too damp; being loosely pouched that's indicative of it being a bit 'wet' when fresh.
I wasn't expecting to like this, but I do. The Hazelnuts embellish the Burley's natural nuttiness perfectly. These two couldn't work any more harmoniously together if they tried!! The black Cavendish gives a lesser flavour than the Hazelnut/Burley, adding just a slight sweetness. The temperature from Hazelnut is fairly cool, and I get no tongue bite. I find the burn good, not necessitating much attention.
The room-note: very pleasant. Nicotine: mild to medium.
Low Country Hazelnut? Cracking.
Highly recommended.

This was a surprise to me. I ordered this blend on a whim. Just because I love hazelnut. Aromatics have been somewhat disappointing to me. Great smell but no taste. This was definitely different. Packs easily since it's a nice ribbon cut. Burns consistently with very few relights. The smell is pretty strong but it has a nice mild smoke. Sweet but not overboard. Hazelnut comes through in the taste. I think this is my favorite aromatic tobacco so far. Will definitely buy more.

I am very happy with this aromatic. I am giving it four stars; not because I think it is the greatest pipe tobacco of all time, but because it is nevertheless good, and offered at the amazing price of just over $20 a pound. I like to case, top, and stove tobaccos into cavendishes by leaving them in a 200 degree oven for 12 hours in molasses, booze or water, and extracts (quite the mad scientist, I), and this one lends itself to those added flavors and stoving. Alone, it is flavorful, but not overly sweet or goopy, and smokes like a charm.
