The tobaccos were greatly sublimated by the soapy, perfumy, toppings, of which anise and perhaps bourbon were among them. The grass and citrus from the Virginia, sugar from the black cavendish, nuts, earth and wood from the Kentucky and burley were just noticeable enough that you knew they were there. The nic-hit was just past the center of mild to medium. The strength almost hit the medium mark. The taste was medium. Didn’t bite, but fast puffing could get one a harsh note or two. Burned at a reasonable pace with a mostly consistent flavor. Left a little moisture in the bowl, and needed a few relights. Was not an all day smoke, and would ghost a briar in short order.
