Gurkha Urban Legend
(3.50)
Notes: Gukrha Urban Legend puts a wild spin on an English blend. A light amount of latakia and a hint of perique are combined with Virginias and burleys that have been imbued by a bit of mocha, pressed and roughly rubbed-out for a long, cool burn.

Gurkha - Urban Legend.
Today this has been my companion and it's made for a nice 'smoking day'!
First things first, it isn't a ribbon cut blend. In fact, it's a rather coarse broken flake. The number of brown pieces outweigh the black, and the hydration is exemplary. The aroma has a slight hint of coffee, but nothing too 'aromatic'.
Urban Legend is one of those smokes which would be great at anytime in the day. It isn't particularly an inextricable smoke, but it's like a mildly flavoured English. Of the tobaccos I notice the most participation from the Burley (1st), and the Virginia (2nd). The Perique and Latakia DEFINITELY underscore the experience. To me, the appurtenance which lightens the intensity is the topping; the mocha, although giving a spot of coffee astringency, lends a smoothing chocolate note. Urban' burns well, free from bite, manufacturing a cool smoke.
Nicotine: definitely less than medium. Room-note: lovely.
Urban Legend? To me it's a great crossover between Natural and Cased. Four stars:
Highly recommended.
