Casey Jones - Last Ride.
The coarse cut mixture contains a higher proportion of black Cavendish compared to the lighter tobaccos, and has a strong aroma of cherries. The moisture's good.
Straight away, upon first light, the cherry flavouring leads out of the two casings. It leads, with a picaresque character: false, sweet, and not at all natural! It develops a sourness toward the end of a bowl, this reduces the score. The vanilla has been included in a much lesser quantity; much lesser. I notice far more black Cavendish in comparison to the others, but the smoke doesn't seem too heavy, or sticky; the Burley removes some of the weight. The burn from LR? It's smooth, consistent, cool, and doesn't need much maintenance. Although quite strongly cased, I get no bite.
Nicotine: mild. Room-note: quite pleasant.
Last Ride? Because of the sourness towards the end from the cherries I'll only give it two stars:
Somewhat recommended.

Burley and Virginia cavendish, with a vanilla and cherry aromatic. This is quite nice, and not a bite to be found. The blend actually smells and tastes of cherry, or what we think cherry should. The aroma is a crowd pleaser, as well to the piper. Tastes rich, sweet and mellow. One of the better cherry tobacco blends. I wouldn’t go out of my way to find this blend, but, if I happened upon it again I would purchase it. If you enjoy an aromatic tobacco every now and then, give this Brave Engineer a try.
