The grassy, citrusy Virginia is fairly buried under the toppings. The nutty, earthy burley is a little more noticeable. The tart cherry topping plays second fiddle to the sherry, which has very distracting sour bitterness and alcohol aspects. The strength and taste levels are medium. The nic-hit is around the center of mild to medium. Won’t bite. Burns fairly cool and slightly slow due to the moisture content of the tobacco. The flavor is mildly sweet and very sour. Leaves a little liquid in the bowl, and needs a few more than an average number of relights. The after taste lingers unattractively. Not an all day smoke.
