The smoky Latakia takes the lead while the Virginia's play support. The Burley and the Black Cavendish add a nutty but very detectable subtle creaminess. No bite or harshness. Burns cool and dry with a consistent flavor. By far the best English/Scottish offering in the CS arsenal.

Extra Latakia added to their Cornishman blend. See the Cornishman review as it is to me the same flavor with a little more, not a lot, more Latakia

I like this more than the regular Cornishman blend. This is more robust and complex. The extra helping of Latakia helps in making this more of a true english blend.
The description on Tobacco Reviews says it has perique in it, but this is incorrect. I am not a fan of perique and I can tell you this has none in it. The Country Squire also doesn't have it listed as an ingrediant.
More of a smokey flavor ofcourse, and for me it fits better into the English catagory. Barely any moisture at the end of the bowl, and a cool smoke throughout.

Had noticed a few positive tobacco listings from these guys and decided to check a few blends out. This is my first and is a fairly nice English. The Latakia is nicely applied, I could see this being an all day English smoke. Creamy with a little sweetness. May need some dry time, I didn't do that and had more than the usual relights. Not my favorite English but different enough that I will probably get it again. Would be a good starter English for a newbie and can serve the experienced pipe smoker as an all day smoke. Get the English flavor without being overwhelmed.
