Alfie Turmeaus - Vanilla Bourbon.
What a refreshing change it is to have a well topped blend that isn't predominately black. A bit of a breath of fresh air!
The blend has some black in it but not much, it can only be identified by specifically looking for it, but even then the black tobacco is greatly outweighed by the brown. I like the smell from the pouch, the vanilla bourbon comes over well.
My first few puffs were nowhere near as aromatic as I expected; it took about five minutes of smoking for the flavours to come to fruition. It's strange; I preferred the lighter taste of the inaugural puffs, after those the taste became too sticky for me.
I don't think that this could possibly contain Virginia alone. I can't be 100% sure due to the heavy casing but I suspect there may be some Burley and Cavendish in there as well.
This is okay; nothing spectacular but not bad. I feel two stars is very apt.
Somewhat recommended.
