Sutliff Tobacco Company Cherry Bon Bon
(3.00)
From P&C's web site: Cherry Bon Bon starts its journey as as a one-sucker Burley known as Green River. The leaf is fire-cured and then subjected to a day-long steaming to soften the leaf and develop the flavor. The final touch is a deep, rich cherry essence that translates into a bite-free experience with a smooth flavor and great aroma.

The earthy, nutty burley really isn’t noticeable as it, and the Virginia is processed in the cavendish style. I do get a little grass and honey from it as well as a very mild vanilla note from the black cavendish. The cherry topping is very mild, though it’s enough to sublimate the tobaccos to some extent, and it does weaken a little in the last third of the experience. No artificial taste in the cherry exists. There's a subtle chocolate note that lingers around, too. Has no nicotine to speak of. A coarse cut that’s a little moist, but needs no dry time. Burns at a moderate pace with a cool, clean smooth flavor with no bite. Leaves just a little moisture in the bowl, but no goop or dottle. Needs a few relights. Has a pleasant after taste and room note. A very mild all day light smoke.
