McGahey - Holt Coffee.
As I'm having one of those days where I'm trying to tidy my tobacco stash I've been trying out a few of the blends I wasn't too sure I'd get along with or not and if I like I'll keep, if I don't I'll bin! Step up Holt Coffee:
I feel the best descriptive word for Holt is mediocre, it's a perfectly inoffensive blend. The coffee has been added at a weight that compliments the blend yet doesn't completely take over; it's easily tasted yet it doesn't seem acrid, harsh or sticky.
Once lit, which is easy, it gives a good burn. The smoke's also relatively cool. One of the few problems with the smoke is the bite, it needs delicate puffs otherwise it can be a pest.
The nicotine's definitely below medium, pretty mild yet not really mild.
This is an okay blend, I'm perplexed though: keep it or bin it, LOL?!
Two stars.
