British Woods continues the Levin tradition even today as it is still produced by McClelland's, which is the company that tinned it up for Barry Levin many moons ago. My Levin tin of British Woods was smoked about 10-years ago, so, I am going by my notes - "Dark, bold and very satisfying with the English flavor crashing against my palate with every puff. The Latakia employed is very leathery, but the Matured Virginia added a slight sweetness that complimented the Latakia in a way that is seldom found today. The Oriental spice was deep in the background but certainly noticeable.
