HU Tobacco RaiKo InBeTween

Time flies, a friend of mine sent me some samples back in January and I am just getting around to write a review. Not as active on here since I moved away from my Pipe Club, as I don’t get to sample many new blends and I have enough product as it is. The tin note was kind of a sweet smoky aroma and the taste also was slightly smoky and with a hint of chocolate. Maybe this is called RaiKo InBeTween as it is supposed to be in between an English and Aromatic. I had two bowls some odd weeks ago and found myself having to puff gently to get the flavor profile to come through. And yes, I am tired of saying it (not that anyone asked :)) but I am 64 and my taste buds and sense of smell is not what it used to be and COVID probably didn’t help either as I lost my entire sense of smell and taste for over a week. With that being said, I finished up the last two bowls yesterday and the smoke was a little fuller tasting though still pleasantly mild. It might be a good bug chaser as it definitely puts out a lot of smoke while puffing. I used an GBD International London Specials II that I cleaned up and sanitized which cost me about 10 bucks. Nice smoke but just not my preferred flavor mix. Therefore, I am only giving this 2 stars. Your palette may vary.
