After 20 years of smoking cigarettes, I decided to switch my vice to something more refined and hobby oriented. It has been a year now and I am happy to of made the change. A pipe has less of a habitual draw for repetition, and lasts much longer for when you really want to smoke something. It has been a fun learning experience finding which tobaccos work for me, and while I am very new to the hobby, I am starting to get a bit more confident in it.

My reviews are not based on an understanding of how a blend is made, the knowledge of different leaves, or years of pipe smoking expertise. Rather they are based on my tactile experience with smoking the product and MY personal set of tastes. With each notch on my belt, I better understand what I like, dislike, and how it compares to previous blends I've tried.
