About Me

I never smoked cigarettes. I mean, yes, I've tried once or twice, but didn't like it. Once in Boston I went to a B&M and got me a pipe and some bulk tobacco. Had no idea how to do it. Gave up at once. Until someone introduce me to cigars. I liked the first one and it was named after my hometown, the capital of Brazil, Brazilia. So, I thought it was a good coincidence. Quite a few years later, in a horrible return, I bought a cheap plastic Chinese pipe and some Drug store tobacco. But at this time, I read some online info and "tada"!! I got what it seems like a feeling that something would happen this time, tobacco wise. Order myself a briar pipe from local retailer and the rest is history! Being enjoying this so much now. It's wonderful, really. It's a fine thing. It's complex, profound, like reading a good book. As it comes with time and effort to teach oneself the right way, whatever that means. I have to appreciate the effort of so many brethren for the amount of reading material which is available. And to this site indeed. About tobaccos, I started with aromatics, but as I learned to smoke slowly and burn the tobacco gently, I discovered the incredible world of English/Balkan style tobacco blends. No turning back, but I still try some aromatics time to time, trying to find a tobacco tasting aromatic that suits me and some who might be around me as well. That's it. I don't know if it can be written here, but I gotta mention it. I love Presbyterian mixture.
